I heard from my friends at Comic Impressions last week and Broken Trident #1 is almost ready to ship!  If you backed the Kickstarter at a physical level it won't be long before you're holding the comic in your hands.

Also, I recently told you about How to Build an Army, the Manga written and drawn by our artists Ailer Azusano and Oliver Yelo.  I wanted to have the Kickstarter Pre-Launch link for you in this update but Ailer had a death in the family.  We want to give him the deserved amount of time for that and will update you in two weeks about that project.  Please keep Ailer in your thoughts over the coming weeks.

Giveaway, Digital Copy, and Printer Updates

Broken Trident #1 is completely finished and has been sent off to the printer.  You should have received your digital version via a Kickstarter message.  We are looking at about two months for the print version due to all of the paper shortages.   Also, I will be sending out another message today with a compressed version of the PDF, I had a few people tell me the file was too big.

In other news, our artists Ailer and Oliver have written and illustrated their own manga, titled How to Build an Army.  We will be launching that as soon as we receive Broken Trident #1 from the printer.  We are estimating a launch date sometime in August but it could be sooner if Broken Trident #1 gets here faster than expected.  We will have a preview of How to Build an Army ready soon.

Broken Trident #2 is coming along nicely, we have well over half of the script written and the artists will start work on it in the coming weeks.  We will be launching Broken Trident #2 after the How to Build an Army campaign is finished.  When we launch Broken Trident #2 it will be 100% complete.  We are hoping for a fall launch date, more to come on that!

Broken Trident #1 will be sent to the printer this week!!

Hello!

We've been waiting for this day for over a year, and we're so proud to let you know that Broken Trident #1 will be off to the printers by the end of the week!!

Keep an eye on your email for the PDF copy of the comic, coming on Monday 5/23!

While we're anxiously awaiting the first copies of Broken Trident #1, we've been working closely with Ailer Azusano and Oliver Yelo, the artists for "Broken Trident" and creators of "How to Build an Army", an upcoming manga series set in the same world as "Broken Trident".  For those of you not familiar with Manga, this would be a great place to start!  The setting will compliment the difference in art and writing style, as it will be a story from the opposite end of the world from Broken Trident.

This is still a work in progress, so keep your eyes on future updates.  We expect this project will come along much quicker than our first.  Ailer already has it completed (minus a few last minute edits).  This project will be 100% complete on the final day of its Kickstarter campaign, so there will be no delay between the funds being deposited and it being sent off to the printer!

We're very excited to be one of the first publishers to create a world featured in both "comic" and "manga" style!  Thanks again for all of your support and we hope you share our excitement for the future of these projects!

BackerKit survey and comic completion update

Hello!

We are at 55% completion for our surveys.  I realized that I had BackerKit setup to only send surveys to physical backers.  I have corrected this error so everyone should have their surveys now.  Please complete them as soon as possible so I can get your rewards out to you as soon as they are ready.

We are just waiting on the final two pages from the artists and the comic will be ready to be sent to the printer!  Here is a little preview of one of the final pages, that shows J'nor talking to the whole crew, including the three fans that were drawn in.

Once I have the comic sent to the printer I will post another update with an ETA.
