Hello!
This is what happens when you post late night updates after working 14 hours in one day:
You see that grammar? That's impressive! It obviously should have said, Since we're at 75%, everyone who BACKS Broken Trident #2 WILL RECEIVE three free digital comics...
I would say don't judge me, but that's not fair, because I'm judging me!
Also, just a quick update to let you know we will be live on Nerdtastic News with Manuel Mendiola, Wed 5-24, at 8PM CST!

Good morning!
The campaign has only been live for a few days and we are already 44% funded! That means we're very close to the 50% Milestone, which means more free stuff! Thank you so much for your support on this project!
I received a new, unfinished, page from the artists this morning, and I am so excited about it so I have to share it with you, check this out!
I cannot wait to see this page in full color, and I'm thinking I will turn this into a print as well!
As always, I love to share my fellow creators projects. I have personally backed both of these and they look amazing!

When you’ve had a career as long and storied as this hardboiled, hard-drinking private detective, you make a lot of enemies. And as he takes a case to rescue a pair of kidnapped toddlers, he finds himself being hunted by mysterious figures from his past. If he doesn’t turn the tables and stop them in time, they won’t just murder him, they’ll slaughter the kids and everyone important to him!
Will he put an end to their reign of terror before it’s too late? Or will he and his friends meet a most gruesome end?

MonkeyMaids is an absurdist novella in the Tales from Existentia collection from IPPY-award-winning author Lynsey G (TracyQueen, PACK), featuring cover art and illustrations by Jayel Draco (Mr.Guy:ZombieHunter, ChildrenofGaia).
🐒When Leo's roommate goes on vacation, he gets bored. So, just like anyone would, he purchases 17 monkeys to keep himself occupied.
Now, with his roommate's return looming, he's got to learn how to feed and groom them…plus how to convince Liz to let him keep the whole troop.
Renting them out for parties seems like the logical choice. What could possibly go wrong?
Equal parts funny and hair- (or should we say fur-) raising, the story includes shenanigans aplenty, quite a few ruckuses, at least one hullabaloo, and a search for connection that spans species.
Another super cool thing about the Broken Trident campaign is that we got writer/artist Nathan Lueth (Impure Blood, Concrete Arcanum, The Canon of Vangel) to do a guest cover and a cross-over print with our artist.
